Ohio muzzlerloader season doe at 90 yards with a CVA Hankins conversion with 8” cut off the barrel using 4227, DI and Pittman 275. I shot down hill and hit her just behind the right shoulder and it exited somewhere out the bottom of her stomach with no meat lost. No field dressing required, found the gut pile 10 feet from where I shot her. Deer ran 100 yards through the thickest brush it could find. I was crawling on my hands and knees for 80 yards following the blood trail. Had similar experience with the 50 cal Felt bad for the creature although it ran much less
