I started off buying a Rem. Ultimate Muzzleloader and have been selling the parts from it over the last few months to get down to just the action. I finally got there last week. I also picked up the stock from mtj555 and a 5.5-22x50 NF with NP-R2 reticle a couple weeks ago. I hope to leave it with Jeff at the spring shoot if not before.
I need a SS ADL trigger guard if anyone has one on the cheap.

Cant wait to get this baby finished!

Looks like a very good start, and excellent components. I really like the stock, and they are very affordable.
I bought a trigger guard from pacific tool and gauge. I did end up with an aluminum guard, but I cerakoted it so there is not any difference.

Have that same stock (minus the adjustable cheek piece) on my 700ml....love it. Not only aesthetically pleasing, it's the most comfortable stock I've used on a heavy recoiller. Pretty neat that they are all "Forest Camo" but all still have their individual characteristics.
The "on the cheap" qualifier is a tough one. I looked for one for another build (the used 700ml was stainless to begin with and came with a SS guard) and never could find one. Ended up going with aluminum and one has to give it a hard look to tell the difference.

Looks like it's going to end up be a great build. I've always wanted to try a night force maybe one day I'll ask the bank for a loan that I can pay off in ten years. I've been very happy with my Vortex HS Viper though so maybe I'm good. Lol

Scott...
I got a couple extra barrels ready to go, some fluted some not.. Got the stainless steel ADL PT&G trigger guard too.. If you get it to me it will be after the first of the year before I could do it but you could probably have it for the spring shoot.. I'll do what I can to build you a Kyle Kicker...
Builds are going a little faster now that I've got the plugs, barrel bands, bushings, ram rod detents and the barrels in stock..

Go for the Brux Scott! They are every bit as good as the Krieger. I bought a new Brux and a new Krieger 6mm and am going to put a new barrel on the target rifle; now its Eney, Meney, Miney Moe? You will not go wrong with either one.......................Interest rates are going up you know........How much do you need?

Should be here just in time to leave the other parts with Jeff at the spring shoot. Ordered my brake this morning so one more piece of the puzzle will be here shortly. I added up the cost yesterday and damn I shouldn't have....
