Accuracy ain't cheap!------------And don;t hold your breath on that 4 mo. Krieger either! A Brux in the hand is worth a Krieger on order

You were one of he lucky ones unless Krieger's turn around time has improved. Most I know waited a good 6 months. I have a shooter who comes to our 600 yard matches that sort of deals in odds and ends benchrest stuff and usually always comes with a few barrels for sale. I got a new Krieger and a Brux 6mm, 8.5 twist for future use. Zero wait time. Had I ordered one from either, I would be waiting, who knows how long? I feel the Brux is every bit as good as the Krieger.........a Bartlein is also right up there with those two.

Some times you get lucky and order a barrel that they just might be making at the time or are getting close to make. A standard caliber and twist barrel will usually get done before an odd ball barrel will. As for the larger bore barrels they drill and rifle them on a different machine and the back up is not as far so, that will also help some in lead time.. Krieger is getting caught up some from where they were a year ago, I have waited a year on a barrel from them but lately I been getting them in 4 to 5 months.. Just depends on your luck...

My wait times were over 6 months on the Kriegers but that was a few years ago. Sounds better today.

I think Arrowhead sporting goods has some brux barrels in stock. I'm not sure if they are as good as Krieger tho.

Yes............At least in my opinion, the Brux run side by side with the Kriegers. It is evident at the matches. You see a lot of both along with a few Bartlein's (also a cut rifled barrel) I went to one of the match reports and found 16 Kriegers, 12 Brux, 11 Bartlein and a few odds and ends of Lilja, Douglas, one criterion and a couple of factory barrels. The light gun winner used a Brux and the heavy gun used a Krieger..........so takes your pick?
