I thought i was the only dummy that shot 90 lbs . Back then IBO had 125 point weight was the only rule . So we shot stupid pounds and stupid stiff arrows . Now you can get same speed or more with light pounds . I still have a new dozen X7 2212s . I loved those arrows

X-7's-----------They were the Blue "cream of the crop!" shafts right? I started with the cheap green ones and then graduated to the XX75 bronze. Pretty much skipped the X-7 and went to the thin little carbon shafts. Still have a dozen of them un-fletched! Never mind Stanislawski, I think I still have a brass "hook!"-----------NO trigger just hook, draw and then tilt until it released!

funny stuff guys! out of the Core 4 I know hankins & I both operated archery pro shops. bill & kyle also shot very competitively.
yes 30br in that game is much like 2613's which in the day we called "linecutters!"
I averaged 295 in archery leagues with a 88lb hunting bow w/ 2315's x7 shafts in my macho days//later to target bows around 45lbs archery indoors avg 300's usually around 54x but that got boring & I started exploring long range archery to extend my yardage to keep in the vital zones of wapiti!
boy I still open old cabinets & see a old wooden serving tool with old stanislawski's laying in the drawer.
I still hunt with aluminum today & boy you otta see the looks on some faces when I special ordered some more X7's a few yrs ago!
kyle- you could have upped that powder on those 2317's a little! The BC really stunk on those 2317's, needed about 60 MOA from 20 to 25Yards. Anything above 22/64" we called broomsticks. When it touched the line we called that a jar licker.

There aren't to many bow company's bows that I haven't shot in 3D. I used to shoot 2312's and 2412's back in the aluminium days. Them Carbon Express till one broke and went in the back of my hand, then switched to Gold Tip and had some very good scores and placings at ASA and IBO Triple Crown shoots.

To all the guys coming to the shoot.... "Lapua" you all know my pit bull dog.... and "Roxie", my female pit bull dog has had a litter of puppies. I have two pups left that I would like to find a good home for. Both a male pups and one is solid white with a brown nose and green eyes, the other one looks a lot like Lapua, Black and white with a speckled nose. Both pups will make great dogs for anyone wanting a good dog. They are what the owner makes them. If anyone is interested in one of these I can bring it to the shoot. If you want pictures I can test them to you so send me you # and tell me you want pictures of the two pups I have left.
I will be at the range Thursday mid day, along with Bill, Deadeye, kyle and Doug, doing some of the set up and getting things ready for the weekend, see you all there.....
