Anyone have any experience with the new Sig Sauer Scopes?
Cabelas is putting the Whiskey 3 4-12x50 with quadplex on sale later this week for $250.
It's the best price I've seen, and I'm interested, but I'm a little concerned that they have dropped the pricing so dramatically shortly after introducing.

There is a huge price difference the prices on the Whiskey 3 vs. the Whiskey 5 so I can't they are the sam quality.
Curious to see if the W-3 is any good.

I bought a 3x15x52 Whiskey 5 back in Nov. I really like the scope. But the prices are crazy. I bought mine from Cheaper Than Dirt for $575.00 which was probably a big mistake on their part because they don't sell the same model for that kind of money. I see prices around $900 and up. They have really nice features. But I would not pay what they want for them now. The Whiskey 5 is built like a tank I have it on my 7mm Mag and it works well on that. I sent away for a custom turret that was over a month ago. It must be on the slow boat from China because I didn't get it yet.
I believe Sig Sauer doesn't want their scoped discounted very much high price seems to indicate high quality to some. A buddy of mine just but a Tango #4 on his .338 Ultra mag so that might shake things up a bit I know he paid nearly 1k for that scope time will tell.
The Whiskey #3 is the cheapest scope probably not what you want to use on a muzzleloader. I did see a Whiskey #5 3x15x52 with regular quadplex not ILL. for around $475.00 now that would be a good buy. That was at Cheaper Than Dirt.

Mine also has CM clicks which are not a problem especially for a muzzleloader. They are really 1/3 Moa not what you would want for 600 or 1,000 yard benchrest but this isn't a benchrest scope. I believe Sig Sauer is going to drop the CM scopes that's why they are discounted. You can get a custom dial which I have on order for mine.
