What power is that optic because those look like 1" diamonds? It is a 1"diamond point to point 3/4 across the scope in the picture belonged to Hillbill I have a Leupold VX6 4-25x52 on it now

is the 73 grains of 4198 the typical load for the 300 mh? I wanted to see how the heavier bullets shoot for me. I would be very happy with those groups, great shooting.

Not sure if it is typical, but I was told to try it with the 327 mh so I figured with the 300mh it would be ok. One thing I did different was I waited 4 or 5 minutes between shots.Gun has shot some good groups with the 300BE but this is the best group yet ordered another 50 from Luke when I got home

I'd say you've found a workable load. And no brake on the gun. Nice shooting and good looking gun.

Yeah, once I get over a 300gn bullet and 65gn of 4198 I want my break. That is a fine shooting gun with the 300gn bullet. What twist is your barrel?

You might try some 4831 powder with the 327 and see how they shoot.
