Has everyone gotten to the range and tweaked their loads and scope settings? I think I have my favorite load dialed in: The 200 gr. XTP, slightly knurled, in a blue crush rib Harverster sabot with 80 gr. of 7828 with a Fiocci primer!

I picked up 8lbs of country ham and 6 lbs of bacon today. Deadeye is bringing more bacon, enough eggs to feed a small army and a lot more. I think Scat might be bringing sausage and some BBQ for Friday night. Ditch Bianchis and come on down for Breakfast early on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Look forward to seeing everyone again!

Ha! I went to the range Sunday and shot and shot and shot......gun was everywhere ....but where I wanted it to be. So I took it home stripped the barrel....cleaned the breach plug.....checked the scope rings and put it in the case. Gonna foul the bore and tweak it Friday afternoon. It is what it is......It's been a very busy month with appointments and getting ready around here for surgery....just not enough time to get to the range like I wanted to. But when I am recovered enough to go to the range . Then I will make up for it. Really looking forward to seeing every one. See ya soon Drop

Mindy will be making 10 gallons of chili early Saturday morning for the lunch and dinner....
Everyone remember to bring a chair and a pop up canopy if you have one.. Rain or shine it's nice to have some shade/shelter to get under...

Laid out 4 wild hog hind quarters to thaw. Will start cooking them Thursday morning. WGK and I will be bringing some Grillin Beans, buns for the bbq, chips, desert, and venison summer sausage with cheese and crackers for snacks. Will be bringing some venison breakfast sausage to contribute to breakfast.

I can't wait you guys are making me hungry. I will be there Friday afternoon also and trying to my gun dialed in. Like Drop I shot for 3 hours on Sunday and all over the place. Well maybe I can get a few pointers for Richard or Kyle to help me out.

All this food talk making it ruff on a fella to miss spring shoot. Ive made every ky shoot but this year falls on same day as our church youth turkey hunt. Which is awesome too got 31 youth signed up with mentors this year. Look out long beards.. Fellas enjoy Kentucky and be safe.

Richard you should probably try the smooth blue sabot with that load unless you want the bullets to hit the target backwards!

Jeez guys, I'm just getting tooled up for the fall shoot. Didn't know I'd have to bring my White Rifle to compete! That Bison is a shooter and I have the BDC scope to take it out to the 300 range. They opened a new Cabelas in Richmond and the bargain basement is full or nice glass, I'm going back to get some for the fall shoot. Plus I've got some $ stashed and soon I'll have a rifle with a nice barrel and HIS ignition to shoot. Not looking for 1st place just a respectable showing for old eyes. I'm just not OCD enough to compete on the bench rest level but I have 10 pt. 196 and 14 pt. 168 whitetails on the wall. Combined yardage for the 2 kills would be 46 yards! All hail the hunters. L O L, fun for all. 10 ga

OH yeah, for the fall I'm planning for setting some trotlines and I'll bring plenty catfish fillets to deal with. The food is just a little bit better and way more satisfying than the shooting. Best to all at the spring deal. See ya in August. 10

Richard is going for the reduced group size by shooting .40cal bullets and measuring for .45!
