I tried hollowing out the Barnes 290 flat base. I believe Richard did the same. They shot ok not great. I didn't spend much time on them because I only had a few to work with. The Barnes all copper is a heck of a good bullet for hunting and really the accuracy I did get was good enough for all general hunting purposes since most shots are 100 yards or less.

I think its funny that NOW he tries to come up with something new after our members stepped up their game and made us new bullets to shoot.....Too little too late....He had everyone loving his bullets and then couldn't supply them....I'm glad it has turned out like it has..its for the advancement of it all,lol.....

I wouldn't be too hard on Bob, after all he gets his bullets the same place a lot of the other suppliers do, at Rocky Mountain Bullets.

His bullet is probably a lot more precise than what I did and he has the copper base incorporated in his. They would need to be shot side by side with his MH. Same time same gun, load the whole nine yards to get an accurate assessment. When you take a bullet like Kyle's that wants to shoot bug holes, it gets pretty hard to determine whose bug hole is smaller and even with the same bullet, every group is not a cookie cutter with the next? There ARE variables and human error to contend with. Just look at all the custom hand made bullets there are for the short range benchrest shooters? Every bullet maker claims his is the best and shooter tend to gravitate to different ones depending on what their gun likes.

Know he has to do is find a way to make them for dollar a pop! +1! Can't say NEVER, but so far, not really tripping my trigger. Doing a little work on the .451 MLII and will soon be going for some itsy-bitsy groups some of you are getting with Kyle's bullets. If they do so for me, don't believe I'll be adding to the inventory of various kinds of bullets.
