I built a trap and we have been trapping hogs on our lease for a couple of months now. So far we have trapped 10 hogs. My hunting partner Danny (in the pic below) lives 20 minutes from the lease so he checks the trap twice weekly. We hauled it a little over a mile into the woods on my version of the ultimate atv trailer. Here is the trap baited and ready. Here are some of the hogs. This is our cleaning station complete with gambrel and rope to hoist the hog up with a 4 wheeler.

They can do a great deal of damage. Although I would like to hunt them sometime, just not in my backyard.

We plan to camp at the lease for the week and hunt them at night with artificial light and bait. I have my 6.8 SPC black gun outfitted with a high power green LED light.
