I thought some of you guys would like to see this rifle I just finished up today. It is a 308 Winchester Match target rifle built on a Stiller Precision Viper SS action a Brux #17 stainless barrel with a 1-11.25 twist and a Richard's Microfit stock in the tiger laminate and Bench Rest style. The Scope is a Leupold 45X45 Competition model with the 1/8 Minute target dot reticle. Very nice scope for this rifle and I liked the target dot reticle when I was test firing this rifle Here are a few pictures of the rifle....

that is a good looking rifle there. If that stock is like the one I got from Richard's you probably had more time in sanding it then building the barreled action.

Ronnie... I could have barreled 10 actions in less time than it takes to do one of these stocks, but when it's done, it is a one of a kind, something you can't get anywhere else, and that's what custom rifles is all about, custom, the way the customer wants it... Here is the pile of wood shavings I swept up at the end of the day.. One thing for sure,,, Richard's leaves you plenty of wood for shaping the shock just the way you want it..

Fine looking gun
Richards are nice stocks but are a LOT of work, my last one I had over 20 hours tied up in it.

I have been happy with the Richard's Microfit as regards price for what I got but indeed a great deal of work to prepare. Glad I like doing that sort of thing. Nicely done Hank.
