A nightforce shv 4x14x56 will be going on a hankins 700sa with a brux modified #17 barrel. I would like to mount as low as possible. Could you tell me what base and what hieght rings and a side pic would be great.

They (Nightforce) will probably not be able to tell you. We use long shanks on these things typically so I believe he is correct in asking since 56 is a pretty serious bell.

Do I have 6-48 or 8-40 threaded holes in my gun. And does any body have a trigger laying around 1-3 lb version.

What trigger are you after? I've got a NIB Timney 510 on my shelf I can sell you. I also like the Calvin Elite. My partner and I have them in 4 match guns we built.
You should be 6-48 unless you had it changed. I also use Seekins or NF bases because of the lugs.
