Here are my first few shots with the 300gr accumax bullet. I stopped after these three shots because it has been a while since I cleaned my flame channel and I started bulging primers so Ill continue testing after I clean it out. 100 Yards, 300 gr accumax, .060 veggie wad, 74.0 gr 4198, Remington Ml action Brux Barrel.

excellent shooting- I would make a small adjustment-74.5/or 73.5 gns with every thing else the same.

Thanks deadeye. I always welcome advise. I have much less experience than a lot of you guys.

Your on the right track. Tighten up that horizontal stringing and you will be stacking them.

I noticed at 74.0gr I had some horizontal variation, and at 70gr I had more vertical variation. Is it possible that something in the middle like 72.0gr may stack them, or is it more likely just the trigger pulling?

your trigger work is fine- I see these shifts from horizontal to vertical quite often/ you have it cornered..... 72 or 73 may be the finish nail driver!

Zack, That is good shooting! Some things you might want to look at: Try to maximize the distance between the front rest and rear bag. Also try reversing the rear bag and see if that makes a difference for you. Make sure your action screws are torqued like you want them to be. Pay close attention to parallax in your scope. Take the keys out of your right pocket and put them in your left. It worked for Tin Cup.
