I just noticed one of the local stores here is selling leverevolution powder claiming increased speeds of lever action cartridges. I was wondering if anyone has been looking at this one as a potential option for use in sml's?

It looks to have a slow burn rate....It might work in a .40 or smaller caliber imo....I would say a no go on a .458.....

Do the current loading manuals have information on this powder that could be of value to you?

I'm not a hundred percent sure but I think its a ball powder so unless you duplex it you will have some going through your vent.

You're right, it is a spherical powder.

The burn rate is above even Varget so I seriously doubt it would work unless with a "chamber" in copious amounts and at least a small amount of booster to keep the balls from migrating thru the vent hole. Just not really the right powder for our application.
