I hope everyone is ok too but I'm glad to see it hit somewhere else for a change. I normally go through about five or six storms like this per winter here.

We didn't get much snow but we got ice out of it; enough to break trees and put down powerlines. I did a 12mi backpack workout yesterday morning when the storm hit here (took a lot of self convincing but I needed to do it) and by the time I got down my backpack was completely cocooned in ice and my shell would stand up without me wearing it. By the time I got home power was out in half the town. Luckily I still had power and could take a hot shower because I was pretty cold.

That would have made for rough shooting in those winds. I left my shooting mats at work because we were supposed to be on the KD range yesterday but post closed instead. Right now I would have to lay on the wet, cold ground or go to the bench and right now I'm swearing off the bench for a bit.

we have about 12" of snow so far, and I don't think the wind can make up its mind. it is swirling like crazy, but blowing around 20 at times.

Here in South Jersey where I live we got about 14 inches. Down by the beach they had little snow but flooding from the storm surge.

We had about 6" of snow at the range South of Zanesville, Ohio Saturday morning . We cleared places to lay shooting mats to shot the first long range of the year at Rayner's Range.

I live in the snow zone where it can be on the ground for 6 months. A word of advice clean the snow off your roof. Aside from being heavy you can get ice damming along the eves and valleys causing water damage.

I live in the snow belt too that's Why I put a metal roof on my house so the snow slides off from it..You just have to get used to the loud noise when large amounts come crashing down at times.
