Yes, an ink pen. I used a push button ink pen that I disassembled. If the spring fits in the hole just cut it to length.
No extractor or spring to mess with if you use DI. Just saying…..

Thanks, gentlemen! took couple tries, but i fitted it Glue it in the hole and you won't lost it again. All it does is hold some minor tension on the extractor. |

I pull my extractor and spring from time to time when cleaning. I've found a bunch of debris on the spring. I clean it up, lube it again, and put it back together. Not sure I'd want the spring glued in. I'm not shooting a CVA, but I presume it is similar to my encore extractor. |

When my Hunter was converted, my builder glued it in and I always wondered how well it stays there.
I'm glad i found out while cleaning rifle at home not in the field
I will add extra springs to my field kit.
It was almost impossible to get the HIS primer module out without the spring
Any ideas for an improvement in this regard?
