The Fury .358 180gr long spitzer bullet shot excellent (<moa or better) in my Encore. So I have been wanting to try some Fury .358 200gr bullets. I emailed Dennis at Fury and asked him a question or two. He said yes and he could. I sent the funds. So, now I should have some to try in the near future. My load is 32gr of AA1680, Fury .358 180gr, Rem 7 1/2 primer, Rem brass. The plan is to just swap the 180gr with the 200gr. So far every bullet that I tried has shot excellent in it. I'm expecting the 200gr to be no different. Can't wait to get them and try'em. Should be an absolute hammer on a whitetail!!

I shot that same amount of AA1680, but with a Win SR primer, and 200ftx bullets. We killed truckloads of deer, including 3 youths that I loaned it to growing up. I had a batch of Rem cases that were reloaded over 40 times that never had a single loose primer pocket! My longest shot was just under 150yd on a mature buck that was facing me. That bullet mushroomed perfectly and ended up in the rear leg. I now use them in a 358win. Cant say enough good about the Max, from mild to wild. Good luck.

Only about .125 of the case is left. I seat the bullet and put crimp on it.

I have the 357 Max in a rifle and pistol. It's awesome in both platforms.

I've never chrono the 180gr load. I haven't had time to load and shoot the 200gr, yet.
