I’ve been working on getting my Remington UML ready to do some load workup.
I’ve slimmed up the forend and removed the cheekpiece from the buttstock (I’m a lefty shooter). Gun is much more pleasing to my eye and feels better in my hand. I also installed pillars and bedded the stock to the action.
Installed a Sightron STac III 3x-16x-42 scope using a picatinny rail and a set of 6-screw tactical rings.
One thing I don’t have yet is a muzzle brake on it. I’ve considered a Witt Machine clamp on but that would likely interfere with the ramrod. May just do a threaded brake but would prefer a clamp on just for simplicity and convenience.
I’ve also upgraded the breechplug as well for shooting BH209. I would like to try the new Hornady 340 ELDX bullet if I can get ahold of some.
Need to attach a photo.
