Does anyone know who makes an apparatus that can use a receiver hitch to hook up a press to size bullets with, like with an RCBS rock chucker??

Some2" square tube and 2" angle . Come out of hitch far enuf to clear tailgate and up to tailgate height and then top with angle iron works great and still can use gate as a bench. If have a front push bar great place for press plate also

I use my front receiver hitch for my Warn multi mount winch, but the rear would be ideal. Bestill, if you have this, how stable is it? Most receivers are loose and at receiver level it works but Iam wondering a couple feet higher how it would work, especially for full form sizing. Ray

I use a 6in 1x4 wood block under tailgate left corner, and 2 4in C clamps, rock chucker clamps on tailgate .( no cost, no damage)

Ray, i can't send any pictures, I don't have a smart phone. I have a older chevy, with that little spoiler off gate. but you could do the same thing on the inside top of box, same corner..

I took a close look at the tailgate and top bed metal and as much as I like Fords, that is some cheap thin metal, but its not aluminum .....yet, they're supposed to do the Super Duty aluminum body this fall. Anyway, the tailgate is out, maybe a bar bolted to floor of bed and tied in underneath the bed rail at rear with heavy plates top and bottom, and then a flat plate welded protruding out where the press could mount, be kinda high to leave room for press arm though. Receiver hitch is best for me I think.

I do not recall where but I saw a photo posted in the last year with someone having a reloading rifle press through an attachment on the rear receiver tube. Just don't know where. Would any search or google search features help find it?

Thanks, in chatting with bestill, his seems like a good idea, and its only going to be 14" tall to be at tailgate height. He welded studs to angle iron so he just inserts press and screws the nuts down and ready to size. I work off of my tailagate when shooting as Iam out in the National forest and have a portable bench, etc, so I'll learn to work around it when I bring it, which will not be very often, Ray
