Has anyone found creative ways to carry/load duplexes while hunting? I have a couple possible ideas but would like to hear what others do.

I use a 7mag or 300mag case for main charge, and a 223 case for the booster. I tape together side by side, but in opposite directions, with a stiff ear plug in each case mouth. Has worked for 15 years no problem.

You could always tape 2 of these together with open ends facing away from each other. No chance of an earplug coming off while in your pocket or something… Z-Color 10pcs 10ml Lab Plastic Frozen Test Tubes Vial Seal Cap Container for Laboratory School Educational a.co/d/cPnAW9jI use these for ALL my loading purposes.

The only thing I do differently is I use the little white caps that go on shelving racks to hold the powder in the case.

This is an idea I came up with from using the ZipFizz energy drink containers. Buy some copper 1/2” pipe connectors for .50 cents each. You can use a plastic abs cutter and cut these to lengths that you want. You could make one short for the booster and the other longer for the main powder charge. Use epoxy and the ends of the (zippfizz) containers to seal the ends w the copper connectors in the middle. This pic is showing a pitman bullet/wad/direct ignition on one side (yellow) and powder is on the other (red) side. The zippfizz come in about 20 colors so you can come up with many color combos that work best for you. The end caps have held up for several hundred uses with no issues and create a water tight seal as tested. Attachments:
