Hey, folks! I’m sure this has been asked before, but I can’t seem to find much using the ‘search’ option. What is the general consensus on number of shots fired before taking out the ignition and cleaning the barrel? For the sake of discussion I’ve got exactly 25 rounds down the pipe using 275 gr Fury’s and wool wads. Noticed the last few times I’ve loaded the rifle up the wad/bullet seems to ‘catch’ on the crown and once forced past that point the load goes down easily with 1 finger pressure. ‘Gunk’ build up maybe? Anyways, 25-30 shots sound good for cleaning? Thanks folks. 👍

I took the roll pin out of my ejector, so I can remove the plug from the barrel without disassembling the gun. I run a brush through mine around 15 shots.

Copy that…..I just did the same thing and it was pretty nasty. First time I’ve cleaned it since bringing it home last month. Probably a little extra dirty due to ‘break in’ maybe?🤔

I have not. I initially sized them until they would go down a clean barrel with very minimal force. Hasn’t seemed to have changed any now that the barrel is fouled.
