Here's a rifle that's been in the making for quite awhile.. This rifle is built on a Defience Rebal long action, 20 moa pics tinny rail, Krieger 1-8.5 twist #17 contour with 10 deep flutes, the barrel is finished at 28 inches and has a Harrels brake installed.. The trigger is a Jewell set at 1 pound. The stock is a Manners T5-A. The stock was custom painted a urban camo type of color... It incorporates a light grey, a dark grey and some black.. Topped off with a Nightforce NSX 8-32X56 this rifle should shoot lights out... I hope to be able to test fire it this weekend if weather permits... I thought some of you guys would like to see it...  |

that is a good looking rifle. I would like to test fire that one for you. I am sure it is a shooter.

That is a sweet gun. What do you plan to teat it with in terms of ammo, reloads, whatever?

That is a sweet gun. What do you plan to teat it with in terms of ammo, reloads, whatever? I'm not sure yet.. I'll shoot some factory loads out of it and maybe some hand loads.. Then she'll be ready to send down the road.. I'll let you know what I shoot out of it when I get to shoot it. |

Given the twist and general configuration is it throated for the 175-193gnSMK/180-195gn Berger?

Keith.
The intended bullet the customer plans on shooting is the 180 grain Berger VLD. the barrel s throated to .188 free bore..... as to give him some room for the longer bullets.
I plan on testing it with factory ammo and once I get that 1/2 group the rest of the load development is up to the customer...
