I shot this target today in are heavy gun match. I won my relay with a 97 score and shot the perfect 100 in the shoot off . I used a 6mm Dasher first and then used a 300wsm light gun for the shoot off. The 97 shows a real heart breaker low shot which opened a 9 shot group up from 3.49 to a 5.7 that's how it goes at 1,000 yards.
So to try and shoot a 5 or 10 shot group with a muzzleloader at 1,000 yards would be extremely difficult conditions do not hold long enough at long distances .

Nice shooting! It appears that shooting 3-4" groups at 1000 yds, in the 10 ring, has a luck factor. Keep trying and it's a lot of fun watching the quest. If nothing else, it makes killing a deer at 300 yds look like childs play!

Pretty sad I posted these targets on the regular muzzleloader board for everyone to enjoy but was quickly moved by Jeff Hankins I guess they can't stand looking at 1,000 yard targets that they can't shoot.

I wouldn't read into it too much. I was a mod at one time and it's good housekeeping to have thing's where they belong. Someone who comes here just to see your posts about what you do, and doesn't care at all about muzzleloading, may have missed your post. Seriously, not a bad move.

You post all your other 1000 yard center fire targets on the correct board. Honestly, I thought you just made a mistake and clicked the wrong board to make a thread. Like Fatfred said., Its good to keep post where they belong. That’s why we have several boards and continue to make new boards when needed, like we did here just a while back for the 40 caliber shooters. Please don't get your feelings hurt when I do some house cleaning and move post that don't belong where they were posted. Wonderfull shooting by the way..............
