I have noticed that scrap metal prices have increased drastically over the last several months. That being said, I wouldn't look for the price of bullets or anything metal related to go anywhere but up. Just an analogy from the cheap seats.

If I did my math correctly, $1.00 of pennies is worth more than $2.00 melted down to copper bar stock. Hmmmmm

Many years ago I worked at a large scrap recycling company in Akron, Oh. and people actually were trying to scrap pennies (not melted). That was at a time when gas prices took a jump from around 30-35 cents a gallon to 50 cents a gallon like overnight. Wages did not really keep up with the inflation at that time. we need this admin. to stop destroying the economy and peoples hopes of the (AMERICAN) dream.

Feels good to know I am personally insulated regarding supplies if I only shoot now and then and hunt. I do worry about the newbs trying to get into our sport. They have a tough go at it. I hope it levels off so the masses and newbs that are not stocked can continue to shoot. In the mean time, last weekend we had a newb at the range. Never shot before. We "trained" him on safety, sighting, and stance. He shot .22, 9mm, 38 spcl, 45 auto. In that order. Taught clearing jambs safely, trigger pulling, etc. He was so excited and happy and had so much fun. Getting his paperwork going on a permit as we speak. Love seeing that. I think even a flaming commy lib would like shooting. Soon they probably will if they want to keep up. uggggh. LOL
