Does anyone have experience with Vihtavouri powders? Thinking N133 or N135 may be a good alternative based on burn rate charts.

They will work. More geared towards bullets 300 grain +. And then in large amounts + it's expensive? If you can get it?

Assuming your asking about a .45, I’ve used VV530 with pretty good success.but have not tried the 135

I shoot 110gr of N135 pushing a 325gr bullet(32" barrel). I get just over 3100fps and less than 45Kpsi. Complete burn and very consistent fouling. It is a bit slower burning than H4895. 325gr - 350gr bullets and long barrels work well with N135. I found plenty of N135 at Brownells before Xmas at $36/lb. The Hodgdon powders that weren't available were around $30/lb.
I did just find 8lbs of H4895 at LGS for $35/lb

Both of my SMLs have shot N110 and N120. Both these powders go boom when you need to. N110 is geared to lighter bullets (39-43 gr) and N120 works well with larger heavier bullets (57-62 gr).

Nick50471, Thanks for the info. I do not have that long of a barrel, but I do have N135. That is some massive speed. Where is LGS?
