After locating powder and primers I finally made it to the range with my dad. We got a good zero on the rifle with 73 grains of IMR 4198 and a 300 gr Pittman Aeromax. The rifle shot great with less recoil than I had figured due to the lighter contour barrel. I uploaded some data into the kestrel and made a first round hit at 300 yds after adding 5 moa to the scope. I couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to stretch the rifle out further.
