JLK has been making quality bullets in several calibers for a long time. The Owner past away in 2019 and the bullet making operation was sold to another man. He is currently making 6mm and 6.5 bullets with more to come depending on jackets.
I shot extremely well with my old lot of 103gr Vapor Trail bullets but the new ones are different and I have not gotten them to shoot as well as I need them to. I got the JLK'S because they are the right diameter .24335 at the pressure ring it doesn't sound like much of a difference but boy does it really matter.
This was a perfect morning to test at 1,000 yards zero wind the mirage was there but not to bad till the very end of my testing. Make a long story short I loaded the same accuracy load I shot all summer in my light gun with my old VT bullets 32.2grs of H4895 and the gun hammered a 4.3 inch 10 shot group my heavy gun shot a 4.4 and (9) were in 3.3 inches. I shot 4 groups and the biggest was 4.9 inches now that is impressive for a new bullet in two different guns with two different bore diameters LG has .236 and the HG has a .237 bore. all groups where shot with the bullet .010 into the lands.
These are hand made bullets and there selling them at production made bullet prices. 6mm 105gr at @ .37 a piece less if you buy in large lots. They check out very good. and the targets certainly backed that up.
