Congrats, Sir! Good shooting there. I always thought Colorado required 50 caliber ML and now I see I was wrong. Aperture or regular open sights?

Congrats, Sir! Good shooting there. I always thought Colorado required 50 caliber ML and now I see I was wrong. Aperture or regular open sights? .40 Cal is Legal for Antelope, Bear, Deer, Goat & Sheep. .50 Cal for Elk & Moose. I Normally use my .40 Cal but wasn't Happy with my Zero / Windage Check Friday Afternoon. So went with the Old Reliable .45 Cal Rifle. It has a Williams Peep Sight with Merit Adjustable Aperture. Williams Green Firesight Front.

Nice shooting! For irons, there is nothing quite like a good peep sight.

THANKS for All the Kind Words. I wouldn’t be Nearly as Successful if I didn’t Practice on my 250 Yard AR500 Steel Antelope Swinger Target & use a Peep sight with a Merit Adjustable Aperture. The Chest Cavity is a Fairly Large Target! 😁😋 Bill L.

Dandy buck, heck of a shot. Glad to see you get a great deer! Like the others have said, you put in your time on the range and it paid off. Kudos on a great hunt.
