I’m sure it’s been mentioned and I wasn’t sure exactly how to word it to search it, but what are you guys using for antiseeze on HIS breech plug

Using smokeless powder only I use wd40 ptfe drylube on my plug. No moisture to collect powder residue or if you have to push out a stuck bullet or un-fired charge. That is what I and at least one other I know of use.

Been using NAPA PERMATEX copper anti seize lube on all my ml breech plugs. Works for me.

I use Thompson Center antisieze.

I use a little bit of nickel never seize. Mostly for lubrication of the threads. Personally I would never fit stainless on stainless dry due to the potential for gauling.

X2 for me. Now use it only on the vent liner or hex screw over the carbide vent. PTFE tape, yellow, pink, white whatever at hand on the plug threads. Before I went to PTFE used the Permatex copper on vents and plug threads and no problems. Reflects my experience and opinion. Others will differ. 10
