Not too much to show here, I think many now have gotten their groups as small or smaller. I basically did a ladder test with four weights of IMR-4895 powder and the 350 gr. AeroMax bullet at 300 yards. I went with 99, 100, 101 and 102 grains. I picked the smallest one (100 gr.) and re-shot it. I also shot the 100 gr. with the 350 Fury II. As can be seen, the velocities are near the same but the POI is about 2" lower..............which shows the lower BC.

Richard, why did you choose group size over smallest ES?

Good question! I was only planning to shoot one last group with the 350 Aero's and decided to see how close I could come to the smallest group I had fired. The ES was low enough on group 2 and as it turned out, the group was similar size wise as was the ES. Sometimes we get complacent with looks vs. facts . I may go down to 96 gr. and work up to 101 next week and see what happens. I may also go from 100 up to 104?
