Looks like we will have a good turn out for the fall shoot. 12 signed up so far and I know of at least 4 more that will attend that don’t post on the board.
So now let’s start talking about the food for the weekend. Friday night will be liver and onions, with fries. If anyone absolutely just hates liver and onions, then let us know and we will try to come up with something else you can eat.
Saturday we will do hamburgers, hot dogs, Brots and Mets for lunch. Anyone that wants to bring some extras is more than welcome. Potato salad and cole slaw is covered by Richard. We could still use other food items if anyone has a specialty that they would like to bring. Deserts are always welcome. Chocolate crack is always good!!!!!!!!!
Jeff Blakely and Bill Travis usually supply and fix most of the breakfast for Friday and Saturday mornings. They could use some help with the food items. Anyone that can bring bacon, eggs, sausage, or other items would be appreciated.
I will let Bill and Jeff make request if anything is needed. So jump in here Bill and Jeff for anything needed.
Some of us will be at the range as early a Monday morning so anyone that wants to show up early are more than welcome, just let me know your coming.

Liver and onions is an old favorite of mine, glad to see a change up! I'll try to get by Bentons to get some hickory smoked country bacon and ham for breakfast. Ill be bringing the usual camp cookware. Look forward to seeing everyone and I will be bringing one very special doorprize to the shoot, one of a kind, must be present to win by blind draw during the awards ceremony on Saturday.

As time nears we will get together a breakfast list. I will bring fixings for the Pancakes. Will have a large 2 burner with big skillet for potatoes and onions, will also bring them.
Will bring the small Blackstone for the eggs and Pancakes.
We will need milk and juice if anyone wants it.

I'm going to have to miss this one. I have to get some parts changed out (replace the other hip 7/31- assuming all the pre-op testing clears). Hopefully I can get in a stand in Iowa in December so I can stock up on backstraps for the next shoot. Have great time. I'll miss you guys.

Good luck with the procedure. Are they going to do a anterior or posterior procedure?...........supposed to be less muscle cutting and faster recovery? Pro's and con's..........https://www.arthritis-health.com/surgery/hip-surgery/advantages-and-disadvantages-anterior-hip-replacement

Thanks Richard. Posterior- which is really sort of on the side. Doc says I'm not a candidate for anterior because of the size of my leg-whatever that means. The other one was done posterior and it worked out pretty well-just loss of some stability in certain directions. Incidentally I plowed up a big rock in one of my fields in May and when I squatted down and pushed to dry to roll it of the edge I heard and felt a pop (on the side that was replaced). Doc says I likely popped a ligament that he repaired during the replacement and now more prone to potential dislocation (also said I was an idiot!)- but that one feels OK now. Can't stop living. Hope to see everyone in April.
