I've always had good luck with Diamond bows, Razor Edge and Infinite Edge are the two my kids used.

A while back I got a bow for my youngest brother who is, shall we say, vertically challenged. I ended up getting a Bowtech Fuel RAK package. For the money, VERY impressive. I'd imagine that the Diamond Edge bows are fairly comparable. The Edge 320 RAK would be where I'd start (JMHO). Has miles of adjustment for draw length and weight. Easy to grow into, won't need to be replaced when she's stopped growing.

My buds and I have had a few Bowtechs, and they are state of the art, and always shoot fast, flat, and smooth. My God kids all grew up on a Diamond Ice, and hope was my boy would get a turn, but turns out he is a leftie, so out of the running now.

I was told they couldn’t impress me because there bows were in demand. I had a limb let go. A buddy was shooting it and it broke his arm. They only replaced pieces that were broken. I swore to do my part to make them not in demand from that point. Planning on going to some archery shops this weekend just wanted to have some idea before looking. Probably won’t buy for a couple weeks.

Sorry to hear about the experiences... There are a few companies I won't patronize either.
No worries, there are a few other options that should do the trick. PSE has a couple, the Uprising would be the one I'd look at. Bear has the Royale and the Cruzer G2. Mission has the Radik. Hoyt has the Fireshot and Klash. The Fireshot has a much more forgiving riser design.
I haven't shot or handled any of these so, I can't say one way or the other. I'd look into the Bear bows first (just personal preference). PSE 2nd. Archery has come a LONG way in the last decade and I doubt you'll find a lemon.
Hope this helps!

The arm healed fine.
I had told BowTech of my 2 previous experiences with Martin and Parker and how there customer service had impressed me. Both were my fault and too had told the companies as much.
I am liking the Royale and the Uprising. Now it will be up to her. Now to figure out a bow fishing bow. Thinking of getting a second of the same thing and rig it for fishing.

Probably would be a good ideal to double up on the same bow if you're getting another for bowfishing. That would really help promote shooting consistency. I really wish there had been options like these when I was getting into bowhunting... LOL

I went to the local archery shop carries Mathews and BowTech. I like the Mission line Ridic and Hammr are their bows that can grow with the kid.

If she likes the Mission line, those should work well. There's a reason the parent company is one of the biggest in the industry. FWIW, here's a link to Bear's Dealer locator: beararchery.com/mapPSE's dealer map is significantly less helpful although if there is a Dicks in reasonable distance, they MAY have some in stock. Call before traveling. LOL

Did the 16 point lilly pad taste as good as the fish did? The walleye an bass are catch and release for us. Pike and bluegill get free rides across the lake for supper. Did not had the bravery to try the 16 pointer it’s in a mulch pile now. Made fish tacos for the first time over the holiday weekend and they were a hit. Had fish 1 meal a day Thursday-Sunday.

Fish tacos are very good. I went fishing in down in the Keys a few years ago and we limited out every day we fished. For two day in a row I had fish for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good times you guys are having!

Been AWOL for a little bit. Looks like you've got it done! Great bows for her, and a good time on the water! That is one lucky girl to have a dad like you. She'll remember this stuff forever.
+1 on the fish tacos... Always a nice treat!
