I will be moving to FT Bliss for about 10 months this coming July/Aug. any members near EL Paso that shoot smokeless?

You don't need to take a gun, you just need to be scouting a lot so you can guide me for scimitar horned oryx and gemsbok. I'll handle the shooting part.

Jeff I am going there for Sergeants Major academy so as of now it's only temporary. I am going to apply for some lotto tags on NM so hopefully I can get lucky with tags, time off and location to go.

You can do oryx on Bliss and White Sands. I always apply for Ibex in the Florida Mountains too but New Mexico doesn't do points so it is a true draw every time. I have applied for deer tags in the Trans-Pecos all my life and still haven't drawn one but I only apply for two places near bliss and both are very hard to draw; I'm after a Carmen Mountain Whitetail when it finally works out. If you wanted to to do elk I will put you in contact with a guy I know in Albuquerque.

never hunted nm elk but I hear they have some awesome bulls,good luck to you both!
fyi-Arizona is another sleeper state according to my sources
