The final coat of varnish is now dry. Fully assembled and ready for a mattress and box spring. Which that store is closed until further notice, but we'll get there. This one for our 2.5 year old son. My daughter has one quite similar to his. Definitely taking advantage of the time at home to get projects done! The trailer in the background is next. A new deck and a new paint job.

Well, this has been completed for a couple months now. But I thought I'd post up a few pics of the trailer in the background restore job. The teardown and wire wheel work. Sat in primer for several months. My coronavirus shutdown for work came to a close, so further painting was delayed. The black paint is applied. Axles, jack, coupler and a couple other places. Really expensive roll of painters tape... Never imagined spending $17 on one roll of tape. But I did. The yellow application. Project completed. And even added more expensive 3M tape. Reflective this time, and permanent. Just need new tires and it's pretty well brand spanking new. Lot of stinking work I'll tell you that.

Great job. It's always cool to show off handy work and ingenuity when it comes from your own two hands. I make and fab stuff all the time. My downfall is always the finish and paint. You conquered that for sure! I just say I build for function not looks. Lol
