Our church is canceled....Illinois is under a shelter in place order. I am 180 miles from Chicago...which is fastly climbing in cases....life us as gokd as it can be rightnow. Healthy...still working...

I found out Weds. evening that our church First Baptist of Woodsfield ,Ohio is the only church meeting for the last 3 weeks. Although member numbers gathering are half or less this was a surprise to me. My pastor was an EMT at one time and addressed concerns in regard to some of us are at higher risk and the public view as us being (rebels). We have been preparing meals and delivering them to anyone in the community who requests on Weds. evenings but all this may change very soon. I am human but I refuse to live in a spirit of fear. How are things like worship being handle in your areas? Good health and best wishes for all. Our Antioch Church of rural Marion, Iowa has been broadcasting over the internet for the past three weeks. One local church pastor has been preaching from a deck on his church building while people listen from the parking lot. Although not the same, His Word is still getting out there. |

I really do not care for many TV evangelists, but have stumbled across
two of them whom we very much like. We normally DVR them to watch
later. For any who cannot attend or get church services any other way,
and if you have Dish, on TBN (ch 260 on Dish):
David Jeremiah Sundays at 8:30 a.m. central time.
Allen Jackson Sundays at 11:00 a.m. central time.
And no, that is not Allen Jackson, my favorite country singer, but I
believe both are in Tennessee.
Neither deviate from true Biblical teaching like so many TV "preachers".
David Jeremiah also believes we are near to the last days and preaches
quite a bit about it, but in a positive way. Allen Jackson seems to as
well, and gets the point across with humor.

I missed the boat on a lot of this due to getting a new phone and not saving my login info🙄
I work in molecular analytics, and 2 of the 6 labs initially credentialed to test for it are our lab partners. We shipped 42k tests in one day.
From what I am seeing:
We are 12-18 weeks from the peak of this thing.
It’s around 80% more contagious than the common flu.
Immunosuppressed people, very old and very young should use extreme caution to avoid catching this.
Once exposed, 5-7 day incubation period. The problem I am seeing is there are signs of mutation....
I was told by an internal medicine doc this will be around for years.
With that being said, I truly believe the media has an agenda to rape and pillage the nation. This is an attempt to use a tragedy to undermine the sitting president, and poise a lay up for his successor.
This is a terribly serious situation. Please, everyone use caution. And stay safe brothers.

The smartest thing I’ve heard so far is, to not act like others have it, and you’re trying Not to get it... act like you have it and are trying not to spread it.
This will go down in history as one of the worst pandemics ever. The speed it spreads, the devastation as it does, are unbelievable. Everyone just please protect your families, stay safe.

Sorry missed the S. Do the fact checking on it. She does make good points but it’s based of her belief and debunked numbers. A lot of expert out there with no clue. Yes it cause server lung problems but when the best treatment is to go lock yourself away why do people rush to the one place they are sure to get. Just asking

Just asking IMHO, fear is the one thing the medical community can’t combat fully. No matter how hard we try. The fear of this will drive people to doctors offices and hospitals just because they are afraid they may have it. They flock to the local wal mart to stock up because they are afraid they won’t have enough. The only thing I know for certain, are the things I stated above. I only provided that as a emphasis on a plea for people to distance themselves to protect nose around them. MIT just released information that the projected infection rate was calculated in error at .07. The actual infection rate should be .1. Multiply that by 322.2 million people in the US.... nothing to take lightly. If folks want to risk it... chance that they are “strong” enough to fight it off, more power to em... my humble .02 |
