Is the Corona virus a pandemic or a media controlled weapon to influence markets and politics? Look at how many people died of the flu in the 2018-2019 flu season in the USA alone over 30K. I do not make light the deaths or ones suffering just what content is being pushed through fear-mongering. I hope and pray for all of you my FRIENDS and your loved ones that you remain safe from this sickness and trust GOD will protect us. Health and best wishes to all.

i believe its media pushed B. S. not that its not serious especially for people that unfortunately have passed from the virus.. although influenza and the common flu take the lives of tens of thousands every year! so its hard not to believe that its political Hysteria! in the mean time my financial situation is starting to suffer as im sure many other people's situations are taking a hit or will be soon.. god bless and good health

I'd like to know. Where is the accountability? The media can spread the public into a mass panic over this virus. Yet you or I spread panic in a crowded theater and we're hauled off to jail and brought up on charges for it? Hmm... We're accountable, yet they are not?

Everyone needs to be a shut in for the next 5 years while this virus slowly crawls across the nation. Or maybe if you don’t have a compromised immune system you should just live your life. Maybe if they come out with a vaccine which won’t have any long term testing we can get it and chipped so we can go out in public. Any gathering of over 10 people they will have to scan your chip to make sure others are safe and big brother can track us better. Limiting access to nursing homes and hospitals I can understand. Closing schools, sporting events and most public gatherings is crazy to me. I must just be a stupid red neck who ate dirt and drank from water fountains when I was young Yes I am a little sick of this BS. I’ll try to step off my soap box.

I think we have only seen the tip of the iceberg with this virus, my guess is that in the next 2 weeks all schools in most of the US will close, many for the rest of the school year, many factories will shut down as well, the economic cost of this thing world wide will be staggering.
Hopefully it will run it's course quickly and be over but my guess is it will likely be around for the long haul.
We are driven by fear in this country, more so than most of the world, the media plays on that fact every chance they get, they are ratings driven and any crisis they can get out there means more viewers.
It will be interesting to see where this goes, we have not seen anything like it in my life time.
As for me? I refuse to live in a spirit of fear, God warns against it, after all who is ultimately in control??

Yeah, NW IN Walmarts and Meijers local to me are out of TP, PT, disinfectants of every kind, milk, bread, eggs, etc. This is completely nuts. We had a buddy check a small grocery about 50mi away, and it was business as usual, so we got a couple things we were lacking. Our boys school has closed for 3 weeks now. My job as a mechanic in the transportation world has never closed, even during power outages and state of emergencies for snow and cold. I will be working no matter what. They implemented a cleaning protocol this past week with ppe for us. Just wonderful. |

The liberals and mainsteam media are loving this. Many had already stated before this they would love to see a resession to make Trump look bad. These people care nothing for other people, especially the poor whom I think are hardest hit by this fake/media made mess. The liberals and mainstream media have only one goal and that is to see Trump lose in 2020. Every move Trump makes they are critical of. It is sad that people would love to see Trump lose and not worry about all the people and businesses that are hurt by this. I just retired 1-31-2020 and I had to have my company 401k, Roth and Pension coverted to cash to switch over to my personal 401k and Roth. So I getting 3% interest on over half(now) my investments and will not have access to the funds until April 1,2020. I was ok with the market decline as I would be able to get back in at a much lower price and I think the markets will recover. THAT WAS GREEDY THINKING ON MY PART.. Thinking only of my success while those around me suffered. The Lord ask/commands us to love our neighbors as ourself and at that time I was thinking only of myself. I have since ask the Lord to forgive my greedy thinking and pray all this is over with quickly and too help the ones who need it most first, as The Lord has blessed me richly.

I went for follow-up apt. for my knee this am. and thought I would get some groceries while in New Martinsville, WV. Well the follow-up was great but the shopping was well hit and (mostly) miss, no milk, bread, eggs, potatoes, flour well you see how far the fear mongering has pushed peoples better senses. To 153 that is a great post and causes reflection on ones self. GOD is in control and may he have mercy on us all. Hope you all are faring well.

I do take the virus seriously not the media HYP. This could be another win for Trump. If they can keep the death rate very low compared to other flu deaths in the pass. I live in MD most of the chain stores Costco etc. are empty. I was in lowes and people bought all the freezers they had and refrigerators. And gun stores selling out of guns and ammo. This is just nuts in my opinion good thing I'm stock up with deer meat.

During the Great Depression the majority of the American public had the ability to hunt grow and trade for what they needed what about now? Scary thought! IMO the numbers have flip flopped most now hold there hands out to receive instead of give GOD help us

I found out Weds. evening that our church First Baptist of Woodsfield ,Ohio is the only church meeting for the last 3 weeks. Although member numbers gathering are half or less this was a surprise to me. My pastor was an EMT at one time and addressed concerns in regard to some of us are at higher risk and the public view as us being (rebels). We have been preparing meals and delivering them to anyone in the community who requests on Weds. evenings but all this may change very soon. I am human but I refuse to live in a spirit of fear. How are things like worship being handle in your areas? Good health and best wishes for all.
