I have added some more muzzle brakes to the website at www.hanksprecisiongunparts.com These are very effective, tactical style brakes. They will need to be installed by a qualified gunsmith. Availabe in several thread ptiches and a small through hole so you can use it on small caliber rifles as well as large caliber rifles. With three top gas ports to keep the muzzle rise to a minimum and help you stay on target.

That is a great looking brake. do you have test videos on it? Looking to tamp down a 300 RUM and am wondering about the effectiveness. do the top ports line up with the side ports? thx

I don’t have any videos of it yet, but I have built a few guns using it and several customers have used them. It is the most effective brake I have available. Yes, The three top ports line up with the three side ports.

OK, so I have deleted all post on the thread that were not good for any of us in this sport. I would appreciate it if we let the dogs lay... I do want you to all know this is not a copy of any particular brake, it is simply a modified version of one that is available. My version should work for many more applications, especially larger diameter barrels... Every new product in the shooting industry is a copy or modified version of some other design.

Jeff,
Nice looking brake should work very nice! I have a similar one without ports in the top and by not having ports in the top my rifle seems to recoil up a lot.

I had Jeff install one of these on my 40 cal Encore barrel and it is remarkable how little muzzle rise there is now. These things will really tame down a SML. Fantastic product. Thanks Jeff
