Yankee bill well said but you have nothing to apologize for. Nyhunter I think I was accused of being a salesman too but all I said was good choice and then I noticed the thread shut down and the warning shortly after. (: YR, Thanks, I guess had we know that there were salesman jobs available, we should of applied first. Stay well Charles

Guys.
You as new members do not know what all has transpired over the last year or so between myself and what they consider to be the Doug's Elite team. I had a disagreement with edge and it got escalated out of hand... In the end I proved my point with out a reasonable doubt and the others had to eat some crow... Will that crow must have tasted really bad because they can't seam to get the taste out of their mouth...
So the bad blood is between Edge, Earnhardt, Myers, and myself... It's not between the boards I don't think.
I have always been upfront and honest with everyone and have stated from the start I build rifles for profit. I consider myself a full time builder with 30 years experience in machining and fabricating and I have devoted my life to this kind of work and sport.
I have tons of money invested in my shop and it takes money to keep a business open., all of you who have your own business know just how expensive it is.. Taxes, taxes and more taxes, so I do intend to make a profit building rifles.
But let's get back to the bad blood between the boards.. Most members of both boards are friends, I did say most. I have made many friends from dougs board and I'm sure I'll make many more from Hank's board.. These boards are supposed to be a place to meet and make friends but theirs an asshole in every crowd and it seems as if theirs about three of them on Doug's board and one of them is in charge of the entire board.. You can say anything you want over their as long as he agreed with it and it don't involve Hankins Custom Rifles, LLC.
So you guys can talk about whatever you want here.. You can learn whatever you want to know here. I'm sure you will always find someone here willing to help you with your problems and questions..
We all have disagreements and strong things we believe in,, what sets us apart and makes us better men than those guys is how we handle ourselves and control our temper...
I want thank all of you for standing up for me and what's right, but like big Edge said " break his ruling and be on the outside looking in"
Thanks....... Jeff Hankins.

Jeff,
Thanks for the clarification, I fully agree with you honesty is the best policy.
Theres nothing wrong with you making a profit for the services you provide, I being self employed fully understand that. If I worked for free I would be standing on the welfare line.
Furthermore that fact that you are publicly telling the members of your site and all those “guests” that may care to anonymously view this post the following,
And I quote Jeff Hankins:
“So you guys can talk about whatever you want here.. You can learn whatever you want to know here. I'm sure you will always find someone here willing to help you with your problems and questions..
We all have disagreements and strong things we believe in,, what sets us apart and makes us better men than those guys is how we handle ourselves and control our temper... “ Along with my statement on Doug’s board 12/10/15 (which was removed):
"I also looked around and decided to use Jeff's system on a 45/70 conversion, I to felt it suited my needs. I have spoken to Jeff on the phone and he seems like a great guy who is willing to help out, not just a salesman trying to sell you something."
Shall serve as an example as to why I choose to use your HIS ignition system in the first place. Not only did I feel you’re HIS system was best for me, I had confidence in you doing the work for me and standing behind the products and services you offered.
Thanks and I look forward to my new Hankins Custom SML.

Good luck, please post some photos when you can. It's great information knowing how the bullets perform on deer in the woods and not just punching holes in paper. Thanks Charles

Shots out to 280 yards, no photos but I have plenty of video footage. I can cut photos from the video so when I edit it I might do that. We all have smart phones and didn't take any still photos of the dead deer..

I guess the big question is when do I get my first check for being a Hankins salesmen? I wasn’t even aware I was a employee. Is there a perk package with benefits? Insurance? Obama care? A cookie maybe?
