with a deer down & a slicer & a borrowed cabelas dehydrator & some wild game mix.
after meat was sliced & trimmed just put in a plastic tub, poured in mix & left in overnight mixing with hands every time I got a chance.did exactly as the instructions indicated but decided to add a splash or worchestershire sauce & a light splash of liquid smoke-no photo
then placed on racks in the dehydrator which you can input time & temp.then off to sleep.
finished product
came out great & very easy to do.

I really ought to invest in such a system. The money spent on processing the last two years would have built a custom ML.

We have good luck with the oven. We marinate then hang the slices from the oven racks with toothpics set on a low setting and block the door open just a little. Then just dry it to your liking. Usually don't last too long after smelling it drying for 3 or 4 hr.
