I just realized that I never introduced myself. Hopefully better late than never My end goal is always hunting oriented. All my experience has been with older generation traditional and smokeless MLers. 209s seem really modern to me. I’m aware of the two boards’ history and try to not make waves on either board. Though I try to not be confrontational, I was banned from the “Modern Muzzleloading Board” years ago for answering a question about what load I was using and mentioned I was using a 10/60 load. Somebody with the initials “RW” got me immediately banned for even daring to post that I was “mixing powders”. Funny now. There was a day that using duplex was anathema. Many of you have helped to move MLing to new heights of accuracy and safety. I hope to continue to learn from you.
PS If you have a crossbow question, I may be of some help.

Steve, you have given me cause to take a trip down memory lane, back to Doug and Mammaflintr, the excitement of Savage rolling out the 10MLII, and later, the .45 conversions of the 10MLII and the 700ML. Thank-you. Those were some good times, when, for the most part, smokeless muzzle loading was just getting going well.
RW - a legend in his own mind STILL.
