12ptdroptine, we are telling our age with that music! When You mentioned the band "Wild Cherry", it brought back one of the funniest things I had ever seen as a teenager back in the mid 70's. We were cutting tobacco in a field down below my house now in TN on my dad's place. My cousins, who lived in the city, would come up to help for some summer cash. Anyway, We were taking a break around daddy's old ton truck, and that song by Wild Cherry, "play that funky music" came on the truck's AM radio, and my youngest cousin jumps up and starts dancing like a chicken strutting, break dancing, and rolling around in the grass like a chicken that had just had his neck rung ! To this day, I still laugh about that! Those were good times then, and We didnt realize it! Thanks for bringing those old songs back for memories! Didn't mean to get off topic, just thought I would share some humor! Believe I will order some of those hearing protectors myself. Thumper

Love that old music. It was real music made with real instruments real voices and real people. Heck most people never realized ZZ Top is just a 3 piece band. Love it but dont miss it...lol. it is all over my Pandora account. Rock On...lol Drop

This was the second week for Herman and Bill with theirs and no complaints (third week for me!) An I just put a brake on Herman's Rem/Brux which raises the noise level a bit.

I used mine for the first time yesterday. They did a great job at reducing gunfire noise while being very lightweight and compact to not get in the way of the gun stock.

Somehow, I believe 31 db reduction is better than 26 db reduction............Unless I am missing something? Just got my pair in the mail. I think me likey long time. "The OTIS Technology Ear Shield system exists in two variants, each certified under a different ANSI Noise Reduction Rate (NRR): the 26 Decibel variant is conceived for outdoors shooting, while the 31 Decibel variant is more apt for indoors shooting, given how the noise can be louder and thus more harmful in confined spaces.
