Looking for advice for .223 tracer rounds and 12 gauge dragon breath. Best place to purchase, the dragon breath affects on the shotgun, etc. So if you shoot either share your knowledge. Thanks.

There are multiple sources online for .223 tracers. Looks like you can also find pulled bullets to reload. Sources are drying up it appears. Firequest looks to have the ammo in stock. Same with the dragonsbreath shells. Pretty pricey though... Can't speak on the dragonsbreath shells, never had any experience with them. They say it will REALLY foul your barrel, but won't harm your bore. www.firequest.com/G12-013.htmlwww.firequest.com/TRA-227.html

Patsreloading.com
He's offering 64 grain .224 diameter pulled tracers. $100 for 1,000 bullets. I do not know if they will need to be resized or not. It depends on how they were pulled or if someone already sized them. I doubt you'll be able to find bullets much cheaper than 10 cents a piece. I've bought from this place over the years, back when Brian's Dad, Pat, still owned the business. He was local for me then, in Massillon. I used to have a hard time getting out of there for less than $1k. Lol. If you are a reloader he offers some nice options.

I played around with tracers a while back - now that I think about it it was well over a decade ago...
Mostly 30 cal stuff. Downloaded quite a bit to get the full burn over about 1000 yards. Was a real hoot to see what they'd do. Had a good ridge for a backstop behind a pond. Made for some interesting shooting to see how the rounds would skip off of the water. You'll be amazed what bullets will do after they strike the ground as well.
Very educational for young shooters...
