If so what load or loads do you like? I have a youngster that will be shooting one this year. I took a kid out 15 years ago and was not impressed with the 20 but I know things have changed. I also know more now and might be a little better at getting them in close.

Heavy steel 20 ga 3” with 2 for big ducks over decoys deadly. 20ga 3” with 1 or bb for geese over decoys deadly that’s all a friend of mine son has been using for 7 years now he 15. Dad offered to get him a 12 ga 3.5 auto of his choice he said naw dad I’ll stick with the 1100
