Found a big fresh scrape on Friday and hurried and moved a camera over it. In my experience, these super early scrapes is a big mature deer marking his territory. Should be interesting to see what pops up

Looks like they were well worth passing. I have never seen a deer in person with as flat of a rack as the lower one.

A buddy of mine killed a 6 year old 8 point a few years ago on that farm that looks a lot like him I'm pretty sure they are related. I will see if I can find a pic .

Well one survived firearms season. Maybe he’ll come out just a little earlier during Muzzleloader. I think I watched him locked up with a doe on the 12th. Only 100yards away but sure looked young in person.

I wish ours were that late. Our deer start settling down the last week of December and get pretty pattern able. It’s easier to shoot a deer with archery last week of December than this next weekend with Muzzleloader. They get chased pretty hard.

New one showed up today. His beams are massive. He’s not looking in the best of shape. Hopefully we can put him in the freezer. I am pretty sure he won’t make it till spring.
