Jeff I wish you would have made your conversion a year ago. I sold my bad bull for all the reason you addressed. Plus one, with 140 grains of 4350, my gun kicked so hard your teeth would ache after shooting it. Too find out the muzzle brake wasn't doing anything makes since. Besides taking 10 minutes to reload. I can't wait for my new apex to show up. With a 275 be that gun chrono at 3200

Why wasn't the brake functioning ?....That sounds like a heap of powder to burn as well.... Jeff will get your Apex up to speed...Have fun with it....

You are planning on shooting a 275 BE at 3200fps in an Apex or was that in the Bad Bull?

Yes the bad bull. Granted every deer I shot was dead instantly.

Yes, every deer I have shot with my bad bull has dropped in its tracks. However, got tired of the priming system and breach plug issues. Had Jeff convert it to his priming system and looking forward to getting back from this training rotation in Louisiana to shoot it.
