Activity picked up today at my place.. Seen 6 different bucks and a couple of them I saw more than once. One pretty nice buck but he had a broken brow so I let him walk...

they are definitely on the move in central/western KY, lot of chasing going on today, mostly smaller bucks. the bigger boys are starting to get out but then the weather gets wet and warm. I came back to work for tue and wed and then back to the woods thur- sun. hopefully mr big will stroll through during that time period?

Rut seems to be over in my part of SC. Not seeing near the bucks I was seeing and even way down on my cams and I have seven out. I think they are laid up trying to recover!

We are still in western KY and the past 3 days have seen many chases. It was pretty crappy weather earlier in the week so didn't see too much. Wednesday PM cleared off and at 3:15 I shoot an 8 pointer that was chasing a doe. Bigger deer I have ever shoot. Field dressed at 210 heavy mass but only 18 1/2" wide. Pictures to come when we get back home. I think the next couple days should be good for movement

Great to hear,,,,, Ronnie... I hope to get back out but I doubt I will make it.. A friend of mine took a nice 13 pointer that will score in the high 140's off my farm Tuesday morning.... I saw some action Tuesday as well but nothing big enough for me to shoot...
Jeff.

That's how we grow them up here... It's mostly do to the Ky. management program.. You are only allowed to shoot one buck...,, so make it a good one.. Then shoot the doe for the table....

A giant for sure! Saw a bunch of doe's Fri. Sat. & Sun. but not one buck. No doubt for me the rut is done!
