I got my frame from EABCO and had the trigger worked before they shipped it. Very happy with it at about 2.5 pounds. My buddy just got an encore frame from Bullberry and had both of his kids frames triggers work by them. Very happy with the work they did also.

MGM does excellent custom work, as well as trigger jobs.

I have a first year production Encore and have tinkered with it extensively. Belms offers everything that a DIY needs to do a trigger job on an Encore. He has a tutorial on his website that will guide you through the process when you have the parts in hand. One note to remember on an encore, if your hammer will not cock all the way back you have either over tightened the buttstock bolt underneath the grip cap or left out the washers. Either of these will allow the strutt in the frame to be restricted and the sear will not engage. Many Encore owners, including myself have shortened this bolt to allow for a snug fit frame to buttstock. Another thing to remember if you ever have a need to return your Gun back to TC, it will be returned with TC factory parts and you no longer have a custom trigger job.

Thanks for all the info , im going to talk to them today ill either diy route or wait til after the gun season here and send it out . This gun has a Begerra that Jeff plugged shoots well will shoot better im sure with some tinkering on the T/C end of it . I went with a Begerra barrel just because of time . My goal is to someday have a custom barrel built for it . As much as i want a center fire gun I just cant put down these single shot break opens.
