I am pretty sure we will be having a home grown Indiana Pig, Hog, Sow, Piglet, Bore, Swine, Oinker, Porky, or any other thing you can possibly call a PIG. I assume Richard will bring the potato salad and cold slaw, Mark will bring the rub, I will supply the foil pans and cooking supplies. I am sure others will be bringing so stuff as well, But I need to know, Please list here what all you will be bringing for the feast this year.
Friday nights dinner is up in the air. I am taking suggestions from the guys attending, so chime in on what you would like for dinner Friday night. We have been doing an Italian spaghetti dish that everyone likes, so we can do that again if it suits the majority of you guys. Please also give me some other suggestions if you have them..... We will have a gas grill at the shoot this time so we could do hamburgers, hot dogs, brots and mets, if that suits your fancy, just let me know.
Deadeye, will also need some help with the breakfast food, so any of you that wants to chip in on some bacon, sausage, eggs, or other items, let us know.
Paper plates, plastic utensils, paper towels, will also be helpful. I have a good supply of these but we are starting to run low.
Let us know what you can bring, so I can get the rest of the things we will need.

I think he is more concerned nowadays about the C3 shoot than the Kentucky Challenge.

I'll bring some bacon wrapped Iowa doe back straps like last year. Also some plates/utensils, etc. I can also get some corn on the cob if we have the ability to cook it and if anyone wants it- farm stand on way out. Please let me know.

So it looks like the Italian Spaghetti dish is a go for Friday nights dinner. Corn on the cob, back straps, and I am sure we will have plenty more to snack on. There is a great little grocery store not 2 miles from the range so if we forget or need anything we can run to the Claysville General Store and get it.. $20.00 minimum sale if you want to use a credit card,, other than that it is a cash only store... LOL..... Glen has everything from pipe tobacco to Carhart boots and jeans. One of the last great General stores left in this country,. I recommend everyone stop in for a look around...
Ask Kyle,,, They make the best daggon roast beef sandwich around....

Ok, I'll grab some corn on the cob on the way down. I think the back straps quality had a bit to do with Deadeye's cooking skills( and being young Iowa does). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
