What program is used to measure the group? On the other board people have used the program to measure the group and post the group size. I'd like to see how close I am on measurements. Thanks

Riverrat,
All you need are calipers. Measure the extreme outside to outside of the holes farthest apart. Then subtract the diameter of the bullet. In your case, .243.
So if the outside measurement is 1.100 inches, the center-to-center is 0.857.
Nice shooting and interesting that the group came up higher with a longer COL (unless you made an adjustment)
A great load in my .243 is the 100 gr Sierra ProHunter and 42 gr RE22. I chronied it for the 1st time this past weekend and it is at 2,797 fpd and never over an inch. On good days it hovers at about 5/8"
Have fun!

Thanks beans, actually what happened was I'd shoot a group stop and take pictures and then cover holes do the first two groups I wasn't able to measure. On the last group I did adjust up one moa to shoot a group in a different spot on target.
One thing with the range trip was I'm happy with the Nikon prostaff 5 3.5-14x40. The first group was 4" to the left of bull. I made a 4 moa adjustment to right and the groups posted were the results of the adjustment. Made me happy to see good tracking on a low to mid range scope.
SpeedSpeedcrackin never looked into that powder. I'm thinking about getting varget I've seen allot of load data that suggests it as a powder for accuracy. The 4350 I have is probably 15 years old and in the metal can. I just wanted to see if I could reload right.
My only head scratcher is the first shot was always upper right then the rest of the groups settled into a nice .5 moa from what I can see.
Thanks for the compliments guys.

Chad.........another easy way to measure is to use the calipers and go from the far side of one hole to the near side on the one furthest away. That will give you C to C dimension. Of course, if the group is a "one holer" then you have to measure outside to outside and subtract the bullet dimension.
