  A friend of mine got Mr Hankins to convert a CVA Hunter to muzzleloader for him and she is working very well. CVA Hunter 45-70 with 209 conversion 55grs H4198 Parker BE 275gr Federal 209A

Way to go! Good job. What was the shot distance, recovery, and wound like? We love details! The top pic was under 30 yards and the bottom was about 100 and both were bam/flop. The wounds looked devastating and both were hit nearly in the same spot which was right behind the shoulder. I have 2 friends that had CVA's converted and both have proven to be very accurate and user friendly.... I will have one next year for sure.
