Dang....I love golf! LOL. I must say that a guy (not me) hitting a little ball only 3 times over the course of 630 yds par 5, and making an eagle is pretty manly and skillfull.

I'm sure golf takes skill but I don't play. I don't really keep up with sports at all anymore. I just work out a lot, shoot a lot, and occasionally run an adventure race. I get to hunt every now and again. Today when I should have been hunting I sat around waiting on the weather to clear so that we could jump; that never happened because it is still crappy out. One of the guys at work sent this to me, from across the office, the other day while someone was trying to talk to me about sports:  |

Most of my rifles (minus levergun, rimfire, and one of my gas-guns with about 5k down the barrel ) are minute of golf ball at 300yds if shot prone or from the bench.

Guys in my hunt club think I am full of you know what when I told them I can hit a golf ball at 300 with a CF. Many of these smokeless guns will do it with no problem.
Golf is the most difficult game I have ever played! That little white ball will make an idiot out of you!

Yeah, it's quite doable. My 16 yeast old nephew did it with one of my AR rifles, cold bore, after getting a block of instruction and doing some dry fires. Target was 1" pasty on one of my pepper popper steels. I was a little shocked to watch it just disappear through my spotter as the 77gn SMK obliterated it. A seasoned shooter with good guns, ammo, and optics should be able to destroy 300yds targets.
